Garden Tuesday: Color
The outside of my garden, with the burning bush peeking over the top of the wall, says everything we ever need to know about autumn: it's pretty! Sadly, it's going to turn cold soon. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the last few days of pretty colors.
I LOVE autumn! I've decided that's why I dislike California so much -- people here will tell you, "Yes, there ARE seasons here; they're just more subtle." Who in their right mind wants a SUBTLE fall??? Stupid California...
To you is your yard, to me (NZ terminology) is your glorious garden. And that is just what you can see over by the big gate? Wonderful trees doing the Autumn colours all over your garden. On non-rainy days it is all Thor and Boys friendly still.
Confession - have harvested 8 wee radish plants that had real round red radishes. I cooked up the leaves too in your honour, and in memory if your radishless radishes over the damp cold excuse you had for a Summer. Lack of Global Warming in NEPA??? It did produce a wonderful radish leaf soup.
Care and huggles, Michelle and super snuggly, cuddle-loving Zebbycat, xxx and much purrrrumbles

Every time you post a picture of your yard, I'm reminded of a Thomas Kinkade painting. Absolutely beautiful.
Beeyoootiful!

It's absolutely beautiful. Love the burning bush coming over the hedge and the photo changing of the gate open and closed. g
