Garden Tuesday: The Start of Autumn
The burning bushes are starting to turn bright pink, a sure sign that autumn's approaching. The leaves on this bush are deep purple in summer time. They're now fading, too Autumn colors are on the way!
Stunning. I don't think we're going to have more than a bit of yellow, quickly to brown as the dead leaves fall off the drought-smacked trees. The rainy low pressure systems this week are pulling the leaves off the trees anyway.
Those burning bushes are incredible, I'm sure their colour changes every day from now on, getting to be a more intense and vibrant pink each day.
So much prettier than the evergreens interspersed with the beige Autumn leaves of the accursed Sycamores here in Fall. Come our present Springtime and - it is still all green outside my windows, justa bit warmer and drier, lol - still we moan about the weather here!
Finally, the end of a long hot summer. Our Burning bushes not turning yet but the golden rod and other fall flowers are in full bloom providing one last burst of color. I suspect your area is similar to some of the mountain pics I posted.

As soon as it stops raining I hope to get out there to shoot some foliage pics!
Very pretty. Now send some autumn weather my way while you're at it.
The autumn colours are certainly suddenly arriving here and the change of temperature with it:-( Diane

Pretty! We aren't going to get much color here, I'm afraid. Everything is half dead anyway.

Fall is my favorite time of year!
Oh I love when the leaves turn. This morning my driveway was covered with pale yellow leaves. it looks beautiful - even if it does make a mess! g
You'll get your own fall frolic!
We're still stuck in summer. Tsar keeps checking for any signs of fall so he can stay outside and play.
If you need a home for any of those books, I have a new library upstairs with a couple of empty shelves.
Today the wind blew and there's hardly a leaf left hanging.
This is my favorite time of year! Great photos.
I love this season, it's so fresh and beautiful.
Happy Wednesday!
Can't wait to see your autumn colors!
