You've seen my back lawn before, but never from this angle.
Sunset is wonderful from my garage roof; it's also the only place from which I can look west without looking through trees.
Bird sitting on the chimney.
And another bird on another chimney.
I have no fear of heights, but why can we just wander around on our roof? Easy. It's a high pitch, with a big flat area on top. This is the top of our garage roof, taken from the roof on the house. So, no wandering around on the peak or kicking off slates, or anything like that.
Happy Garden Tuesday, everyone!

One of my favorite early childhood memories - probably about age 8-9 - is up on our red tin roof with my father. I think there's a photo or two somewhere...
Beautiful view through the trees. I have no fear of heights either but Nigel has no balance so stays on terra firma. Take care Diane
Fun shots!
Howdy Marjie, great photos. Our Sons sit on our roof during the Christmas celebrations. Our town 'lights up' over Christmas and nearly every home has coloured light displays. No worries, and love, Carol. P.S. Did you have music playing on your blog? We didn't hear anything and wonder how you did it. C
So, so beautiful!
love the fall colors

I'm not surprised heights don't scare you. These are lovely.
Hi Marjie,
I had to chuckle when I read your post as my husband just replaced our chimney cap recently. I chose to stay on the ground. Such beautiful views from your roof top as well as the sunset.
I'd love to wander around on our roof! I have dreams of putting a deck on top of our one-story garage which is attached to our house. Some day!
Thank you for sharing such wonderful views.
Once upon a time I was fine with heights ..... these day I find even changing a light bulb can be a challenge, and Zebby Cat is no help at all - your wonderful darling Thor would have at least been lovingly supportive!!!
Your view is fantastic. I love your property. Every time I see, it makes me sigh for all of the green!
It’s a beautiful sunset, indeed :) The rooftop is one of my favorite parts of the house because you can see a lot of things from the roof, looking at them from a different perspective. Sometimes, it just has you thinking, you know? It's the perfect place to have your morning coffee!
