Yes, I'm being an annoying mathematically gifted person again today. But when your math is combined with pie, what's not to love? It's March 14, or 3.14 as it's often written outside the US.
So, go ahead, celebrate, because you know you want to! Will you celebrate with pizza pie?
How about Lemon Chess pie?
Or French Market Pie?
As for me? I'm going with Strawberry Chiffon Pie. It's pretty low carb (not low cholesterol, but no one's perfect), and pretty, too!
So, tell me, how are you celebrating Pi Day?

I was just reminded of this about 15 minutes ago at lunch. Luckily it's not too late to add some pie to my day!
I'll take a slice of each please!
I think we should have pi day every day! Just my thoughts after seeing all those great looking pies!
I have never heard of Pi day but I guess I would have to go along with French Market Pie :) Diane
How did I not know today was pie day?!!?!??!
Pi day here has cookies.....they're round.
Just goes to show you that even a techno-nerd mom can bake - and you sure can.
I'd like a manly slice of that Lemon chess pie please.
The Knight wants strawberry. I'll have the French... or rather, we would if we were your guests. There will be no pie here tonight, unless he wants a pizza pie.
I knew I was making a bad decision coming over here tonight. Look at all those pies!!! I'll take 3.14 pieces of each please:)
Thought this might bring a chuckle for Einstein's birthday today:
Albert Einstein perfected a technique for getting rid of unwanted guests. After some time, a maid would enter the room with a bowl of soup. If Einstein accepted it, his guest would feel that he was interrupting a meal and be obliged to leave. On the other hand, if Einstein wished to continue talking, he would simply wave the soup away, as if he couldn't imagine why it had even arrived.
Louise, that's a great story. As for pi, oh, I really shouldn't, but maybe a sliver of the French Market.
Oh wow....mom wants some NOW

Ha - never heard of it! Lucky me learning something new today :o)
But what a great opportunity to endulge in all kinds of pies...
I'm all with Faye - manly slices sounds like my kind!
Too late for Pi day here downunder, however I spent part of Thursday evening making cookies where there was a pack of green "jello" in the mix to produce a suitably green result, while also fully aware that St Patrick - patron saint of Ireland - was a Welshman!
I knew it was Pi Day. Cafe Press reminded me last week so I could buy a Pi shirt. We're having apple pie today.
Sadly, we celebrated in nerd land with challenges as to who could remember Pi to the most digits. I prefer your approach.
Mango Momma
i had some of a pizza pie, does that count? i wish i had had some strawberry chiffon pie (not that the others aren't great too), but alas, i did not. :)
