Garden Tuesday on Wednesday

It rained off and on Monday and Tuesday. Today we had a peek of sun, and my yard suddenly turned green:

It's green out the side door, too:

And the forsythia are starting to bloom.
Now I hope it doesn't snow on our sorry butts.

Spring flowers are popping up everywhere here... I just wish it would stop raining.

It is almost time we cut our grass again, I see in places it is getting quite long. Too wet at the moment, we have a few days of drizzle to look forward to! Diane

The redbuds are showing here. I'm worried about a cold snap too, but each day brings a little more security that spring is here.

Nice to see the green and the buds.
We're having summer this week. All our snow has disappeared except the tiniest bit left in the backyard. It might even be gone by morning. BUT, it's mid-March and our 'normal' daytime high is 3°C not 23-26°C !
I suspect winter is not quite over yet.

I love the peek at spring! We have been enjoying some awesome warm weather this past month, but had a cold snap (ha ha - possibly around 65) this past weekend. I've loved every chilly moment of it. I'm in no rush for summer here!

Hi Marjie, is it common to get snow in your Spring? Your garden looks lovely. Bet Thor loved having a good old wander through it. No worries, and love, Carol

Garden Tuesday on Wednesday seems appropriate with this crazy weather. I must admit, I'm lovin' it. However, I am getting a bit nervous. Seedling are popping up everywhere. I'm not too worried about the days. It's the nights that can be a killer.

I have tiny daffodils in my front yard. I haven't been out to look for the crocuses. I love spring - if only it would stop raining......

Our forsythia has just started to bloom as well. Record warmth for 5 straight days but they are predicting frost next week. I don't think anyone wants snow now.
