Garden Tuesday: Holly
It doesn't seem to me that holly usually has berries this early. I could just be confused.
Last year our holly berries came about this time and were gone a week later when the birds ate them all. This year it's been so hot that we aren't getting any berries or crabapples or anything.
Oh no, Marjie. I don't think you're confused. I have many strange happenings going on in the yard this year. It just "ain't" natural. (I know how much you must detest that word:)
I think the culprit in La NiƱa. That "girl" is really beginning to get on my nerves!!!

Hollys are one of my very favorites and the way the weather is changing, it could be confused.

It's beautiful! My neighbors holly bush has berries now too.
No berries on my mine. Your berries being so early makes me think possible early winter - Oh no. Diane
Pretty... but I've also seen signs of a hard/long/early winter down here...
I think it's the holly that is confused. But it sure is purdy. g
