Just a drive-by post to tell you all I'm not flooded here on top of my hill. We've had at least 6" of rain in the last 3 days, but, as you can see, it's rolling right out of my little corner of the world.
There are places within 10 miles west, 20 miles south and 30 miles north that are under vast amounts of water, but I'm in the hillier section.
School started yesterday, and I'll be back later or tomorrow to tell you about it. It's just not the same without the hairy student.

So glad you are high and dry. My family lives in upstate NY and this morning had a school delay because of flood warnings. Stay dry!
Thanks for the good news. I was hearing dreadful stuff about PA and NJ on the radio today. Took on some water from sources unknown in our bedroom. That sure was a lot of rain.
I don't know who is going to keep those kids in line to do their studies now that the fuzzy headmaster is gone.

I am so happy to hear that you are safe and relatively dry. I do know how you are feeling in that quiet house. g
I am so glad you haven't been flooded - living on a hill helps! Stay safe and dry!
I thought of you this morning when I heard about the flooding. I have some wonderful memories of summers on the river in Tunkhannock.
Flooding. That's not nice. Glad you are high and dry.
Glad you're safe and sound. Thor must be coaching Sophie from above... she graced her human "grandmother" with a kiss yesterday - the first ever. Sophie is learning the art of human-pleasing...
I'm happy to hear you fared well........you've got some weird weather going on down there.
Mommy Nature has NOT been a very happy lady lately...
Oops glad you did not get flooded, not a nice experience!! Diane
