I cook, I sew, my beloved and I run our business from home. After more than 30 years of marriage, life is just about perfect. This is our corner of the world.
It does seem early. But I could also be confused :)
I'd say it seems early, but I just saw Christmas trees at Kohl's... lol
Last year our holly berries came about this time and were gone a week later when the birds ate them all. This year it's been so hot that we aren't getting any berries or crabapples or anything.
Hollys are one of my very favorites and the way the weather is changing, it could be confused.
I'm perpetually confused.
Summer sure seemed short this year. Miss you! Love the roasted veggie post you made a couple days ago.
Look nice dear!! and maybe are confused! he!
we have berries on our hollyBenny & Lily
Oh no, Marjie. I don't think you're confused. I have many strange happenings going on in the yard this year. It just "ain't" natural. (I know how much you must detest that word:) I think the culprit in La Niña. That "girl" is really beginning to get on my nerves!!!
It's beautiful! My neighbors holly bush has berries now too.
No berries on my mine. Your berries being so early makes me think possible early winter - Oh no. Diane
Pretty... but I've also seen signs of a hard/long/early winter down here...
I think it's the holly that is confused. But it sure is purdy. g
