Garden Tuesday

What's this black thing in my garden?

It is (or was) $500.

What's it for?

For Dan to fix the roof, so it will no longer rain on my head while I'm brushing my teeth.

Maybe we'll have some real green by the weekend!

Well it must be the year for leaky roofs. I need one too!!! Now if I could only persuade my son to help...Lasagna might work!

I think I saw a daffodil today...I did, I did, I did see a daffodil. It nodded at me and said "it won't be long now."

Looks like an interesting roofline....I'd like to see the whole house. I don't envy Dan either.

Quite interesting. I feel you get green by weekend and enjoy it with a cup of morning tea.

What a useful son - floors, roofs, windows - your dear Dan fixes them all for you. The sheeting he's using looks similar to the rubber sheeting on top of the flat roof of my wee home - mmm, that wasn't cheap either 19 years ago.

Hmmm, I asked the question last night, "do you think we will get one more winter out of the roof?". It must be a virus going around!

We also have leak repairs in our future next month. What a wonderful feeling that will be to have it done.

Someone needs to invent a better way to cap a house.

LOL everything for the house is so expensive. I am continually amazed at your sewing, gosh I would give anything to do that!

But this was just your temporary solution for the roof leakage, right? Because there might be some other reasons why there’s a leak on your roof that need to be seen by a professional. I hope I am not too late to say this, but I think it’s time to have your roof inspected.
