Garden Tuesday: Hunting for Spring
I sent the little boys out to find spring. They found mud, gnawed sticks, magnolia buds, and, finally, crocuses.
Oh yes, we are finally seeing some spring signs here also.... Days are longer and warmer... I had enough of cold and dark cloudy days... I have some flowers in my garden too!!! On sunday I went for a walk and it was so hot I could not believe it ;) Ciao Lucille
We're still waiting here, too. The back fence still has snow a couple feet high and a few feet deep. Skippy still loves to walk the snow mountains in the yard LOL. But we've had enough mild weather and drizzle lately that the front is 'almost' snowfree !
Hooray, things seem to be warming up for you at last. Thor will welcome the warmer weather.
Yesterday we got our first cold blast from Antarctic for the year - the metservice advised wearing 3 to 4 layers AND a wind proof layer. I had to go out in it while Zeb snoozled away inside, lucky lad!
I think it will never be spring sometimes... woke up yesterday, warm, yesterday afternoon, cold... weird weird weather! Looking forward to Thorsday... Petunia is not happy winter may be over... I sure am!!
It's hard to believe that this time last year the forsythias were in full bloom.
I have a few crocus popping up but this weather has played havoc with my saffron crocus. This is the second time I lost them. First to a varmint, now to the weather. Will try again...

I saw some daffodils outside the office today!
Aaah! Bless the spring, hopefully we'll get there very soon!
I believe you are on your way now. Back down to 50 here today, then 80 on Sat - isn't spring great.

Crocus, as sure sign! Yippee!
Spring comes in and visits us, but hasn't decided to stay yet. We had our daytime high at 7am today. Yay?
Looks like they definitely found spring. YEAH!
Yay! Crocuses!! Thanks for linking up!
I'm looking forward to these things.......we're still very deep with white!
Yea for spring. Our trees are almost ready to flower, but it did get down to 29 last night.

Too early for flowers though - not even crocuses.
crocuses really are the arbitor of spring, aren't they? And I don't know about you - but they always make me think of my grandmother. :) g
I love crocus! So glad they found a bit of spring... sending sun your way!
Crocus are the truth in advertising for Spring. Glad the boys found them!
