Thor in School

Paula asked me what we're doing for school with my kitchen and breakfast room disruptions. Well, we stuffed a small table in the corner of the dining room. Of course, Thor still goes to school every day.
And, while neither his speech nor his reading abilities seem to have improved, nonetheless, he still studies his phonics.
Happy Thursday, and Happy Dogs on Thursday!

Thor looks like a very studious student!

You may have explained this before on your blog ( and I missed it) but if not, I was wondering what made you decide to homeschool? How does it work?
Fascinated of Windermere!

Maybe Thor's just a quiet achiever!
And look on the bright side... You don't have to check his homework!

I love it! I'm sure his reading has improved so much more than you know. He probably doesn't give the boys that tilted head sideways "what are you talking about" look anymore when they read to him. g

Looks like Professor Thor has back to back tough subjects of Phonics and Critical Thinking! Hope your weather is decent enough that your 3 students can get some outdoor recess in today! :-)

You know, if the Knight ever walks in while Thor's up and sees me gazing at Thor, my resistance against the big dog in our house will be futile...

I can see it all in Thor's eyes...he's got wisdom and that will get you further than phonics '-)

What a great school companion :)
Wouldn't it have been nice to have gone through school with a Thor sitting beside you all day :) and my goodness I can't get over how he is such a big dog :)

Thor likes phonics more than my son does. Little Son would be happy to supply Thor with another phonics book just like that one. We are going camping tomorrow, and will not be back until next Tuesday. However, I have eight ruby red grapefruits in a box in my fridge for you, if you are still interested by then. The shipping weight might be a bit high, though, because fruit is heavy. The grapefruits are organic. Email me if you are interested at billberna@bellsouth.net . Little Son will happily throw in the phonics book for free!

If you use Revolution monthly on your cats you won't have ear mites (it's a flea/heartworm/ear mite/roundworm/hookworm product for monthly use). We recommend it for all our kitty cats!
