Larry and Karin were probably right last week. I haven't yet received the bill, but I'm certain that what I showed you was very expensive "soil." You are all excused from sending flowers when I have a heart attack after I see the bill.
And then there will be the bill for adding a new patio under the yews. Note that the "soil" is still on display. These are the final pictures before seeding: you can even see my footprints in the first one.
I took this picture upright, so I have no idea why it came out sideways. And then I turned it upright, and blogger still turned it sideways. But you can see the turquoise hydroseed. THAT will be a shocker of a bill, I'm sure.
(Just turn your head sideways to see this one, too.)
By next week, there is supposed to be grass. Hopefully lots of grass!
Happy Tuesday, everyone!

The bill won't be fun, but oh my how lovely the wedding will be!!!
LOL - okay you are now trained.
We had 7 truckloads of topsoil a few years back that also was not cheap! At least you are prepared for it so it hopefully will avoid the heart attack. Diane
Can't wait to see

Can't wait to see the final results!
Are they going to roll out the grass like a carpet? I miss seeing that, because out this way, now everyone just rolls out the wood chips.
i'm paying very close attention to this--i'm curious to see how quickly your grass will appear!
Is there grass yet?? We have had very meager results with traditional seeding here in the woods.
You know, watching grass grow takes a lot of patience. But there is excitement in that: the anticipation of something soothing and pretty growing on your front yard. And looking at your vast yard, I’m sure it will be worth the wait. That said, have fun while you wait for them to grow!
