The problem with a mulberry tree is this: How does one go about picking the mulberries when they are all 6 feet or more off the ground? (Not to mention the fact that ripe mulberries stain everything, especially when you walk on them.)
And this rhododendron has decided to bloom again. I don't know why, but I'm pleased.
Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I love that your rhododendron bloomed again. Mine never do!
Do the birds eat the berries, then poop all over everything? We used to have that problem before we had a garage.
Your eight-foot high sons can pick those berries.
So pretty...... I need to hire someone to garden for me! lol
We have mulberry trees in our park -- lots of them. I was walking the dog and saw 2 ladies with a big tarp and some long poles. The just banged on the branches and got buckets of berries. It was very effective, although I'm sure the birds who feast on them were not amused.
The ladies scooped them into a buck and moved on to the next tree.
