And then it got warmer, on Sunday it rained just a little bit, and by noon Sunday we just had a yard full of mud again.
Of course, Monday (yesterday) the temperature dropped by 30 degrees, and we now have a yard full of frozen mud. With below zero low temperatures expected for the next 3 days (and 15 degree highs), I know you'll excuse me for not showing you some lovely pictures of frozen mud.

Growing up in northern WV, I clearly remember that frozen mud.
We had VERY cold temps last week - in the 40's! Yesterday and today it's about 75. AAAhhhhhh! Sending warm rottie snuggles!

Hi Marjie, the snow looks wonderful, but don't think we would like frozen mud. Amazing isn't it that we have such vastly different weather conditions at the same time. Happy New Year to all in your family.

Weekend snow is the best... when you can stay at home, catch up on the DVR, enjoy hot beverages, etc. :)
Frozen mud reminds me of Chicago. We didn't have your arctic blast, but we did hit the freezing temps for several days last week. There was even a dusting of snow on my mountain for eight hours or so.
Well at least that was a pretty snow, while it lasted.
We've had only a trace of snow but these temps are crazy. This is the coldest winter we've had since moving here. It's more like a Central New York winter.
