So, right to the pictures, right?
Two 24 pound turkeys need two carvers, of course.
This visitor offered to carve both. He had no idea what he'd offered to do.
If too many cooks spoil the broth, what happens when one has half a dozen or more table setters?
And here's the picture you've all been waiting for: The Dinner Party! (I was wearing the dress I made for the wedding in New Jersey in August. It was too pretty to stay locked in a closet.)
Food, in plentitude!
One of the turkey platters midway through dinner. We don't mess around when we feast.
And note that Natasha carefully threw her dog food on the floor, concentrating on the real food. She didn't touch her dog food for the rest of the weekend, just sulked until she got people food. She's no dope.
Stay tuned for pictures of snow and other feasts! Happy Tuesday, everyone!

That's quite a good looking group. Natasha catches on quick. Dog food can't compare to Thanksgiving dinner.
So how did the meet and greet go?
Although I'm loving these pictures and all that delicious looking food, I'm with Sue. How did it go, do tell:)
I have been thinking of you all week, wondering how it went. Beautiful family and delicious looking food. Preparing food for your favorite people, that is the best, isn't it?
I was waiting for the pics and wondering how it went. Beautiful group shot !
Natasha knows how it's done LOL My 2 will get Christmas dinner on the 13th (I won't even bother with adding kibble) and for about 3 days after Alex will look at her bowl wondering where the heck the good stuff went :-)
Wow - What an awesome get together and with 48# of turkey. It made me tired just thinking about pulling that meal off. There are sure some tall people in that shot.
What a feast! You all looked so fancy and the table looked beautiful. I bet you were glad to have all your kids home this year.
That's not a dinner party, it's a banquet. Food looks delicious and with a group this size it is a good thing to have more cooks in the kitchen.
Happy belated Turkey Day - sure looks like you guys had a grand time!
Now that is the meaning of Thanksgiving

What can I say other than WOW. Belated wishes for thanksgiving. Have a good day Diane
Fantastic -- You never disappoint.
What a fantastic spread! But like the others, I want to know the rest of the story.
A smart dog is a lot more work, but I happen to enjoy the challenge.
48 pounds of turkey!?! that's almost too much to fathom. :)
