Garden Tuesday: Future Grapes
Yes, folks, there's great hope in my little corner of the world that we'll have a bumper crop of grapes. I just hope the birds don't eat them before they're ripe enough for us. Happy Garden Tuesday, everyone!
Fingers super crossed that the birdies don't get a chance!
At my dear Dad's folks' place it was a battle with the wasps - not that we were there very often at grape harvest time.
We would be visiting around Xmas -December- well before the grapes would be ripe - but we saw how good the grapes would be once they became juicely ripe!!!
Neato!! I love truly fresh grapes. I love it when our vineyard friend sends me a "stalk" of grapes. They usually have to be peeled, but they're worth the trouble!

Yum!! I've always wanted to grow grapes.
I love grape vines! Hope yours continue well!
Grapes are fun to grow, and smell so good as the fruit ripens.
Our grapes have never shown any promise of grapes, but I have blueberries, strawberries, rubarb and figs. :) g
They are so beautiful as they mature :-)
What fun!! We put in three new grape vines this year but no fruit this year it looks like. Ahh, next year, I feel a big harvest coming!
My grape plant is only in its second year but I have 3 small bunches on it. I will have to wait some time for a bumper crop like you! Diane
My grandmother grew grapes. It was such fun to go out and pick them.
Everything here is dying!
Fingers super crossed that the birdies don't get a chance!

Love that you will have fresh grapes!!!
Tomatoes, here. Lots. But not a single zuke or cuke -- not a single bee, either.
Will we see you stomping on those grapes later in the year?
