Garden Tuesday: Melting
The snow in my yard is starting to melt, thanks to 45 degree temperatures and rain all day Monday. We still have a long way to go, with no guarantee that the snow won't be replenished.
It's warm ad sunny today after a couple days of storms and tornados.
The worst part of Bentley eating the flowers each day was that all we ever got to look at were leaves and stems. He consumed all the color. It was funny to watch him. Sue
Obviously this is a wild guess, but I have this sneaking suspicion the Groundhog may be wrong, so I'm not putting away my heavy coat or snow shovel for a couple more weeks.

It has been icy cold here today with a bitter wind but no sign of snow. Diane

After getting stuck getting into the driveway last night, we now have a muddy-slushy mess out there... along with the mountains of snow.
Does that mean spring is. coming?

Had a bit of catching up to do, and we are sisters in the dusting philosophy.
We had just enough snow to feel giddy out here. And then it melted.
Spring is on the way!
Our little tree just started blooming!
dont get your hopes up its supposed to drop down to 23 this evening here in NYC.....
I see pavement! Hooray!!
We do like the melting part!! Hope we'll have some of that here soon too!
We are having temps in the 60's. I'm getting so spoiled and I know it's going to get colder again.
