I have been waiting all day for the rain to stop. I didn't even require sunshine, just a lack of rain! Finally, at 4:30, my little corner of the world dried up a little bit.
The autumn colors are peering through just a bit. I spotted this dogwood on my way back in from a day at the doctor yesterday (and what could have been more fun than that?), and thought you'd all like to see it. Not many trees turn purple in autumn.
Happy Tuesday, everyone, and Thor sends greetings from wherever he's hiding from the evil wet stuff.

Look at that lovely brick wall/shed? Your yard must be fantastic - all the time. g
ps - you should be getting a box from me tomorrow :)
Beautiful color :)
Doctor? Doctor? What's this? I hope you are well and not overdoing it (yeah, right).
Love your view. You've had my rain for months now ... you'll be pleased to know that it arrived back in my corner of the world today. Perhaps your rainy days are over now.
I ripped up what was left in my garden yesterday, leaving just the herbs. I'm going to try to keep them going through the winter.
I'd' never come across a Dogwood tree until your late springtime post of a very beautiful tree, covered in incredible flowers.
Now I learn how glorious the same tree type looks in early autumn - what a beauty to have growing nearby!
Hope the doc has sorted things out for you - I have a wee collection of them myself.
Zebby wished he could have hidden with Thor when it rained all day today, only Zeb has to share a wee one bedroomed home with his human, so it is hard to hide away. And Zebby so wishes Thor could have his own litter tray when the weather is bad.
Huggles and purry snuggles from Michelle and Zebby
p.s. - wee collection of doctors and of health hiccups, I keep them on their toes!
Leaves are turning here rapidly.. Here we go into winter..
Zeus says to Thor "keep hiding... the rain is nasty!"
How beautiful! Why don't my dogwoods turn such a shade?
Beautiful picture Marjie.
Bear wants to know if Thor would like some sunshine sent his way.
I'm surprised you don't have more fall color in the trees. Ours are starting to change, but it's been raining so much that most of the leaves will just drop without changing.
