Through the Gate

I am happy to say that the snow which was predicted for my house, and which began flying on Thursday night, amounted to little. That's not to say it isn't cold, but it isn't white. This gives me the ability to answer a question asked a while back by Pam, who wanted to know what's through the gate on my header. Well, here's the gate today, with the burning bushes turning to their spectacular scarlet and hot pink hues (thus the name "burning bush").

I love walking through and under the boughs toward the gate.

And on the other side, I see....My little corner of the world! Complete with sunshine, an alien concept hereabouts of late!

MJ is MOST impressed. She said you should make note cards....

Oh cool! I always thought that was the inside view. How cool that it opens up the other way into your home paradise! Lovely colors. Weather here is bizarre. I raked leaves yesterday ... it's usually too wet. Youngest had fun jumping in them. Who-hoo!

I'm with Pam - I thought the gate picture was the view you had, but it's not? It's the street view? Or are both sides of the gate yours? Love the bush - and notecards would be fabulous - you know in your spare time. g

And that's your yard and what you get to live with, everyday?
Can you hear envy in my voice? ;-)

Simply beautiful... *sigh*

Such glorious colour!. And now I understand Thor's "bad weather" frustrations even more - all that huge great yard to roam in with his humans. Pesky rain and snow!

Too funny - the word veri is "archtypel"
