Thor is Lonely...

...because his people keep leaving him. This is his last human sister, getting ready to leave for college last weekend.

That's why he was supervising kickball yesterday.

OK, so maybe he was watching the street, to be certain no one had the nerve to walk past his house. A dog has to do what a dog has to do.

And Gaylen's Beau had a medical emergency yesterday. I'm very thankful that her baby appears to be recovering.

Poor Thor... Fred - our first basset - was beside himself when the Page moved out.

Poor fella. I bet he has his sights set on Thanksgiving. How are you holding up with fewer kids around your dinner table? *sniffle*

Thor needs a road trip. Load him up in the Lincoln and take him for surprise visits to his peeps!

It's ok Thor, they'll be back and just think how happy you'll be to see them come in the door.

Aw... is he guarding the place from intruders, or is he just watching to see if anyone has changed their minds and are coming back home?

They do miss "their people" when they are away, don't they?

Poor Thor, he doesn't much care for back to school time. Me neither.
