Naturally, with two new toys, I had to use both. I'm a mother many times over, and I just can't play favorites with kids or kitchen stuff. The medium bar pan instructions said it is perfect for a box of brownie mix, and indeed it was! For the small one, I concluded that the lemon bar recipe is for an 8"x8" pan, which is 64 square inches, and my new small pan was 7"x9", or 63 square inches. Sorry, I'm just an engineer at heart; the differential is statistically insignificant, right? Wrong. The new pan isn't nearly as deep. Oh, well, next time I'll make a thinner crust.
Thank you, Chan; I'm thrilled. And if anyone needs new Pampered Chef stuff, I can recommend someone who ships very quickly, with great packaging, and even remembers our four footed friends!

New kitchen toys! Yippee! Very nice toys at that! Looking forward to seeing all the things you create in them! The UPS dude stops here often. Alas, nothing for me ... it's a running joke between me and the UPS dude, mailman, FedEx guy, etc. :-)

I've never cooked on stoneware before - I'll keep an eye out for it. It's always fun getting new kitchen toys.

I do the square inch thing too! When I make Blondies, I use an entire cookie sheet, but fill it almost to the top of the pan.. It gives me something thicker than a cookie, and thinner than a brownie.. cooking time is between cookies and brownies also.. New kitchen gizmos are the best!
Oh, I'd forgotten the brownies! I might have to grab a bag of Rolos and make a favorite TPC "fancy" brownie recipe tonight, just to reward myself for living with (new to me) fall allergies and back pain.

Jealous. Very jealous. I love my Pampered Chef stoneware pans. But poor-little-ol-me only has one size.
You know Marjie, I've been contemplating the idea of having an online Pizza Party for my blogoversary in October with a contest and prizes. Something like we did for the Picnic Game because, October is also National Pizza Month. I've been at a loss for inspiration for gifts. I wonder if Pampered Chef sells pizza pans!!!
