Happy Independence Day!

The dress is ready for the wedding tomorrow. Here's a crappy picture of it hanging in my office, ready to wear. More pictures next week, I promise!

This is the cottage we're going to. See, I told you it's not fancy.

Here's another look. Did you notice that it leans a little bit? That's my old "jolly wagon" between the two cottages. Yes, I drove a 15 passenger van for several years.
At least I know the sunset will be nice. Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

The dress turned out great! Are you going to wear your pearls? You know how I love those pearls! Hope you have a safe and fun trip! I kind of like the natural setting (provided there is not an excess of bugs). I've actually only been to one outdoor wedding and one outdoor reception (from a different wedding). In fact, the outdoor reception was "potluck"! The wedded couple didn't have a lot of $$ back then, and so everyone just brought food. It ended up being one of the most fun receptions ever. They've got 4 kids now and are as happy as ever. Is your entire clan going to attend tomorrow? Hope you have a great time!

The dress looks so good, even in a wobbly photo. You will look beautiful. Hope you've got all the gear there for Mr Mark to turn out well too.

I like the look of where you're staying. Have a really wonderful (insect free) time. And super bestest wishes to the Bride and Groom.

LOL - Zeb is nose down in a fluffy scarf yet with head upright, eyes sneaking looks and ears poised, ready for my next move towards bed or food.

Hope you have a wonderful time,

Yeah, the picture doesn't do it justice, but I can tell it's cute!

Oh it's adorable. You are amazing. I wish i could whip up a new frock when I wanted too. Now I live somewhere where my favorite stores are no where to be found and I can't sew a lick. Bummer.
