Happy Thorsday!
A young man wanted to share veggie scrap with a guinea pig. He forgot his mother's dictum against animals eating out of her crockery and dishware.
His dog was feeling left out, so the young man threw cucumber scrap to the dog.
And the dog carefully watched the guinea pig when they were left unattended, lest the piggy wander off and get hurt.

As the dog-ma of born and bred hunters, I am in awe. Thor is such a good, sweet, gentle giant!
Thor looks like such a sweetie! I think I'd have rule against animals eating out of my dishes too. They have plenty of their own.
I bet the little piggy doesn't have his own dishes. Hope you didn't have to break the bowl. I love how concerned Thor looks about piggy being there alone. g
Aw, they are so cute together. Not only is it amazing that Thor is gentle with the wee beastie, but also that the guinea pig isn't afraid of the gentle giant! How great to see that all living creatures in your house get their daily serving of veggies! So ... what's become of the bowl? Did you run the sanitize cycle on your dishwasher? Twice? :-)
Seriously that is adorable, OMG Thor is the quintessential gentle giant. Love him.
Thor is such a good boy. It must be wonderful to have a calm, quiet dog around. Mine never stand still. They even move in their sleep.

so great! amazing how gentle he is! Bundy - I'm afraid - would tear the piggy apart... he still barks insanely at the cat... Thor is absolutely adorable - and so are the kids in the pic of the last post! Happy birthday Ryan- are some of your kids twins?

Too cute! I miss our piggies, but I don't miss cleaning their cages. I loved how they would start squeaking uncontrollably when they would hear a plastic veggie bag being rattled!
