A Present for Me!

Have you ever seen one of these?
I bought a gurgling jug for my mother in law for Christmas 2 years back. I loved it, although I think she was less than impressed. So, I decided a couple of weeks ago that I wanted one too, and ordered it. This is made in England, and it makes a very loud gurgle when you pour liquid into a glass, and another gurgle when it's turned back upright. The little guys are delighted with the noise!

Oh I have seen that before. My friend bought an orange one last fall from the cutest kitchen store in Stillwater, MN. If you ever want to visit a quaint little town, Stillwater is your place. ~ Robyn

Sounds very fun to me, but I fear Sissy would be tempted by the gurgles... I can hardly keep her out of our milk glasses as it is!

Oh it's wonderful. I can imagine that everyone would be tickled with it. How can you not smile when the juggle gurgles at you? g

Okay, I'll try this again. I'm having the hardest time sending/receiving post messages yesterday and today. *sigh* Love the gurgling jug. I recognize the fish pattern, but I had no idea there was such a thing as a gurgling jug! I can't wait to hear what the older kids think when they have a chance to use it! Be sure to act all surprised and tell them, "Say excuse me when you make noises like that!" Ha!

I've seen this fish style on old vases and things, but I never knew there was such a thing as a gurgling jug.
