I do believe Thor and his lobster have decided they like the new floor.
After all, it's warmer than tile. But a guy has to play hard to get sometimes, doesn't he?

And here he is, trying to keep our master craftsman penned in. It didn't work. Dan went back to Charlotte yesterday.

Too bad he can't get a construction loan for another house. His work is phenomenal. I don't know what he's going to do during this downturn. I do know that Thor and the rest of us miss Dan.

There's some construction happening around here, but precious little. The Knight is eager to do whatever we're going to do, because he thinks we can get great deals...

I just love pictures of Thor with his lobster. Does he carry it everywhere?

Happy Thorsday! Does Thor go from room to room looking for his missing people? :-( Poor fella, glad he has his lobster. Hope Dan had a safe trip back to Charlotte, and that something opens up for him soon. I bet he's missing all of you already.

Sounds like you could send Dan to Chan (ohh, that rhymes!). Thor does indeed look like he's enjoying the floor. But I think Larry's seen better days. g

Thor is so handsome and the floor looks fantastic. Darn economy issues are hitting all of us.

I'm just amazed that Thor's lobster is still alive! My tiny little Rosie (Jack Russell) kills everything we buy her, usually within a day or 2. Pieces of pork chop or lobster everywhere. *sigh*

Isn't it amazing that no matter how stinky that lobster is he will still love it?

Sorry to hear that Dan's having a rough go of it - my nephew Aaron is in the same boat here. He's a finishing carpenter and he's working 3 jobs to keep afloat. His wife just graduated from college with an elementary teaching degree and she's subbing now and then. If she could just get her foot in the door. Your floor looks great and Thor does seem to enjoy it. ~ Robyn

When we adopted our Airedale from ATRA, she came with a bag of issues, and a worn out stuffed otter.. Issues got settled, otter didn't last long- terriers love to tear stuffed animals apart!

I love your floor! I could use a Dan around here too and my border collies wouldn't let him get away either ;)!
