I just bought this.
I've wanted one since I was, like, 10. My husband's family let his grandmother's go a year or 2 before I met him. It was identical to this. Boy was I irritated when I found out.
One of my sons will have to go fetch it on his way home from college. I will be excited to see it next week. I know it needs a belt, but I figure I can get it to work (and be decorative). Marjie's next project: lots of fun furniture refinishing in the basement.

Marjie, my mom still has one and I insisted to her that she keep it...it's got to be worth something.
My mom had one of these and so did my grandma. There was a "secret compartment" in the cabinet that I loved to open when I was a kid. I can still hear the sound of the trundle. Enjoy!
