The rest of the yard looks great from a distance, too, although the lawn service really needs to show up and do their thing.
And the rhododendron outside my kitchen window which had early flowers killed by frost about 3 weeks ago is coming back in full force! (yes, it's pretty skinny at the bottom. That's the problem with having a 50 to 70 year old bush that one dog liked to dig holes under, and a piece of plywood fell off a roof under repair at one point and took off a big part of it.)

Beautiful! I wish I knew what was blooming around here that is splitting my head open. I've been thumbing my nose at the pollen up 'til now...

Omigosh! Everything is looking so lovely and spring-like! And a rhododendron in bloom is still beautiful...
They're still getting snow off and on in northern CA, so who knows what the weather there will like in a few weeks,(we're just going home for a short visit before this place sells) but I'm hoping for a spring as beautiful as yours!!

The rhododendron looks beautiful, ours is not looking very bright after the very cold winter. I am surprised as the camellia is extra happy this year! Diane
That rhododendon looks good. I like when they are allowed to get kind of scraggly looking, it looks like how they look in the woods. My husband keeps our azaleas pruned into nice round orbs and I hate it. I want them to look like a bush.

I miss the azaleas and rhododendrons. They don't grow well around here and I used to look forward to them each year when I lived in the East.
