Thanks to Louise for the inspiration. Here are maybe half of my dictionaries:
Part of a decorative set:
In my library:
In my office (because, of course I need at least 2 directly at hand):
And one of many in the homework room.
No online dictionaries around here! Happy Wednesday, everyone

Oh, I love it. I do have online dictionaries too though. I love dictionaries, and love that my Kindle will provide me a definition in a second.
I'm ashamed I don't have one.
Those are really cool

I admit to using online sources mostly now. Growing up, though, Mom had a huge 2-binder dictionary that she bought by mail order a section at a time. Thick white pages like cardboard filled with color pictures and cool descriptions. My brother and I used to sit and read that dictionary like it was a novel LOL
These are lovely. I've got the 5-pound Webster's.
I love old dictionaries! You have quite the collection.
Never thought about taking pictures of my dictionaries. I'd have to round them up because they're all over the house. Do foreign language dictionaries count? I have Spanish, French, Latin, Portuguese and Russian.
Oh Marjie!
I'm so glad you celebrated Dictionary Day! I came {{{{this close}}}} to posting pictures of my dictionaries (many of them food related:) but first I'd have to gather them all up and then I would have to find the others. I LOVE dictionaries. I do believe Mr. Webster would be impressed with your stance on having them "hanging" around.
Thanks for sharing, Marjie...
Antique books make sure great decor!
