Happy Easter!

Most of these pictures were taken by my little guy. We had Easter dinner last night, and the traditional basket hunt today, so the college kids could skedaddle back to school. There's even a picture of me doing what I always do, getting ready to feed people!

Hope you're all having a nice holiday. As for me, we had no leftovers from nearly 10 pounds of boneless leg of lamb, 5 pounds of heart attack potatoes, a dozen pizza tomatoes and creamed spinach, and I'm making an easy dinner tonight, after The Amazing Race. Hope you've all had a good one!

Happy Easter, Marjie! Looks like another great holiday meal. Bet Thor loved having a houseful, too. Your little guy did a great job with the camera! (PS: Don't be shocked, but I made dessert today ... this chocolate eclair thingy made with graham crackers, van pudding, and whipped cream. My family loves me again!)

I'm sure you all had a Happy Easter with that wonderful roast lamb feast. Zebbycat thoroughly approves. Well done Mark with his photos including Mom in "cooking action".

I have a ceramic cooktop too. I've found an easy, cheap cleanup by forgetting the fancy cleaners - mix equal amounts of salt and baking soda, rub over the surface with a damp cloth and a little elbow grease. Wipe off with a damp cloth and smile at the result (way better than any bought cleaner). I now keep a small, lidded container of the salt and baking soda mix in the under sink cupboard. I should use it more often, lol!

Autumn and post-daylight saving time snuggles and huggles,

Michelle and my super-sized Zebbycat

We had VERY similar-looking potatos and London Broil. (My aunt caters to the Knight for some reason...) I miss having an egg hunt, and had planned a carrot hunt for the dogs, but Sissy's toenail injury and Gretchen's Xanax drunk ruled that out...

Wow! That sure as heck beats my toast for Easter dinner... and the ear off one chocolate rabbit.
Next year, I'm comin' to your place, okay? With your hoard, you'll never even notice one extra mouth to feed!
