So I thought I would post a picture of my dearly beloved's grandmother in her garden about 80 years ago.
She had flowers.

Love the old photo. We're very late this year as far as greenery goes. The lawn is brown and ugly and so far not a single flower.

Just like my grandmother - always wore a dress, jewelry, etc - cooking cleaning, working in the flowers - didn't matter.
Both my Grannies loved flowers. It's nice to see a picture of yours!
