I've had salt and new snow shovels nearly as long. I did this on the strength that Murphy's Law would dictate that if I'm prepared, it's not going to snow. Sorry, folks, it's finally happened.My front yard.

We're in the middle of a blizzard here but it's not actually laying a lot of snow........mostly its just flying by in a horizontal fashion ;)Is that ruby glass in your header? I love it!

Yep, we got it too. My post will be up on Garden Tuesday. I am, of course, disappointed that it snowed on a Saturday!!! What a waste of a good snow day.

we've just had our first real snow too. there was a sprinkling earlier in the week, but i won't count it. sigh--i guess the cold will really set in now and i may as well prepare myself.

Beautiful! As you know, we got more wintery mix than snow, but when we ventured out yesterday, we discovered that a few miles away, they'd had almost all snow!
I love the look of fresh fallen snow - I grew up in the mountains and I miss having a white Christmas. It's bitter cold and super windy today - miserable.
We never got snow. :(
And I have made PB pie, and I LOVEEEEEEE it!
