Hooray! I'd like to have one hard-wired and on an automatic switch, but I won't complain... having a generator at all is a very good thing.

Awesome - yay for you guys, but honestly, I have to say "really lady, 2 days is what you're complaining about... try nearly 2 weeks!" LOL, sorry I couldn't resist.. and yes, I'm jealous, esp with this damn snow storm we have coming in! :)
You will really appreciate having a generator. We use ours for running the pump for the well and the refrigerator and freezers when the power is out.

...and if you're really lucky, you won't need it very often - here's hoping !
We bought a generator during the big ice storm six years ago. We haven't needed it since so I guess it's working it's magic.
