Halloween

Again, I'm a little late in posting for the holiday, but stuff happens.

My little guy went out for Halloween with 2 of his friends. My boy, of course, is the Roman soldier. The green guy is 4 months older than my boy, and the blue chicken is 11 months older. I didn't realize just how tall this child is, because he's short when compared to his 6'4", 15 year old brother.

All of these holidays that come up are the first ones in a decade without Thor, and it's sad. But at least this year I didn't have to worry about whether Thor might decide to go outside and play with the 3 Trick-or-Treaters who showed up.
Yes, this picture was 6 years ago. And, yes, I made the tiger suit. It was a nice warm fake fur. The little guy loved it.

I am so glad you are still posting Thor's photos on Thorsday. For me, it is like he is still among us, although I know you miss him terribly. The first set of holidays is definitely the hardest. Love the costumes.

LIKE all the costumes, but most particularly the noble creature on the far left.

Awe. So sad for you. The boys look adorable and man - your son is tall! g

i love all the costumes, marjie! i love that your son is so tall--he might resent it at times, but rest assured, it's an awesome trait. :)

You have mastiff vision! Poor little guy is full sized but his siblings just keep being bigger. He will catch up.

We got 0 trick or treaters and that's the way I like it. Of course it helped that it was totally cold, many people didn't have power (although unclear why that would affect your ability to go outside) and then there's the fact that I turned out the lights as soon as my husband pulled out of the driveway.
