Garden Tuesday: The End of The Color

This was taken Friday around 7AM, before the sun had gotten high enough to illuminate the entire tree behind the house.  The tops of the trees looked to be ablaze against the dark sky!

Sadly, it's been raining the past 2 days.  Most all of the leaves are down now, but I'm not venturing outside to take pictures and return with cold, wet feet.  Sorry.

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

We're living in a freezer. It was 7 degrees this morning. I doubt there are any leaves left but like you, I'm not going outside to check.

Your leaves really hung on a long time - good decision to forego the photo.

Beautiful. We didn't even have that much color this year. It was a muted fall here, and now it's gone.

About your cold toes -- don't venture out, we're in solidarity about that.

Our leaves are long gone, Marjie. It seems the freezing cold may never leave. Cold toes are not a good thing. Marion bought BOGO footsies for both of us!!!
