Garden Tuesday: Hydrangea

Remember my giant hydrangea, with which I was particularly delighted after removing the unsightly, overgrown shrubs last week?

Well, we fertilized the new boxwoods planted next to it, and evidently, the fertilizer is working its magic on the hydrangea, as well.

See?  The flowers are turning pink!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Looking good, Marjie! Now, if you add some aluminum sulfate to the soil, you can have Pink & Blue Hydrangeas! Here's a link:)

I think it is amazing the way they change like that. My neighbor has one that has all three colors on it at once - I don't know how he manages that.

Mine have now turned dark pink. Hope all well over there, Diane

I love how they react so quickly to soil changes. I also like that they're pink rather than blue. Very pretty.
