So, last week Larry complained that all of Brutus' pictures show him in a reclining position.
Well, that's the way giant dogs, even puppies, prefer to spend their time.
But I figured you'd all like to see that Brutus does, indeed, go outside to his own yard.
And he wanders off to the far reaches of the yard, sometimes as much as 50 feet from a person before he returns to make certain we're still here.
Happy Thorsday, everyone!

Big dogs are much like cats. Reclining is good.
LOL - I thought it was more of an observation than a complaint but nice to see him out and about. :-)
Yes, a little exercise is good, in moderation.
Brutus is just gorgeous whether sleeping or meandering. Enjoy your weekend. No worries, and love, Carol (and Stella and Rory)
He's getting so big!
What a BIG baby, BOL

Beautiful, sweet boy. But I for one, am thankful he doesn't desire the very energetic sprints and bounces Gg does. Sissy joins in, and having a wee JRT bounce off of furniture and humans is entirely different than having a good-sized basset making the same contact. I can't even imagine Brutus bouncing and pouncing...
What a sweet pea. I bet he loves exploring your beautiful property. My dog would be in heaven there!!!
Brutus reminds me of my kids when they were little, their heads would always look back as they stepped further until they just had to turn back to be sure we were watching.
He really is getting big Marjie. I bet he will really enjoy that space one day when he's older:)
Have a great Labor Day!
"Active." Hehehe

I know my Dane used to spend a lot of time sleeping. The smaller breeds we have had are far more active! Have a odd week. Diane
