"What Do Dogs Tell Us?"
I got this magazine in the mail today. Biggify the picture; it's worth it.
I believe that what this poor dog tells us is, "Don't make your dog a laughing stock at the dog park. Let him have a normal hairdo."
Or maybe, "Dogs need hugs, not hairdos."

Hi Marjie, that is a funny/sad photo on the magazine. Wonder how the dog feels about the hair do? Can't believe its five months since Thor went to the Rainbow bridge. Standard poodles are very intelligent and they make great guide dogs. I find it appalling that they are treated this way by vain humans.
Darling Thor was such a special, loyal friend to your youngest - thanks for sharing this lovely shot of 2 handsome guys.
I think that dog on the NG cover is one of those long suffering Weimaraner's that fellow dresses up for calendars and in this case magazine covers....note the color of his eyes and the long silky ears peeking out from what, I'm guessing is a lion disguise.
Thor is the real deal isn't he? A fellow once said in a class I went to that a certain breed of dog is what all dogs aspire to be. I think he would have used Thor as that example.

Argh... can that color be real???? I can't stand dogs with stupid hats and coats.... I swear they look embarrassed. They are just too gorgeous the way they are!

I agree that we don't have to do crazy hairdo to our dogs. Dog grooming in Long Island is good because they groom the pets with normal hairdo and they don't add unnecessary accessories that can harm our pet.
