Garden Visitor!

Have you ever had a headache that stretched on for 3 long days? That was my weekend and Monday, the kind of headache that's made worse by moving and thus elevating blood pressure. So I subsisted on orange juice, advil and tylenol. This guy's visit all day Saturday made me happy.

His momma showed up periodically with worms and whatnot. He spent the whole day in the rhododendron right outside my kitchen window, not more than a foot from the glass.

He was too fast at gobbling up his worms for me to get a picture of him being fed. So I just took pictures of him turning around.
He flew off with his momma on Saturday at dusk. I hope he's doing well!

Oh yes, I've had those headaches!

I love the way the mama birds park the chicks somewhere safe and tell them to wait. We had a Cardinal chick on the windowsill for hours the other day.

Great photos. Hope you are feeling better, I used to get migraines that went on for days so I know just how you feel. Thankfully, (touch wood) I have not had one for years now. Take care. Diane

Oh, "those" headaches. Mine usually turn into full-on migraines. Unusual bird.

I hope your feeling better soon. At least you have a robin.....I have a fleet of noisy blackbirds clamoring outside on the deck.

Most of my headaches last anywhere between 1-3 weeks - I wouldn't wish longlasting headaches on anyone. Hope you're feeling better.

Sorry to hear about the headache. We have wrens nesting in a house on top of a post on our porch and we need to start watching them closely for emerging new ones.

Go to the doctor and have your blood pressure checked please. I am only 46 and have been on meds. for a year now. my parents have a lousy health history, so my doctor and i look at it like we are hopefully preventing me from having their fate.
take care of yourself. enjoy your blog very much.
