Thor's Back in School

Well, the boys started school on Tuesday. Thor wanted his picture taken for the first day of school, too.

Notice that Ryan has passed the 6 foot mark on the height chart. Mark's right at 5 feet, and the kid is 2 months short of his 10th birthday.

Later, Thor helped Ryan read his vocabulary lesson. (Lucky kid, being able to lay over a chair to read! Who else says, "My teachers would have had a conniption over that!!"?)

And Gaylen's Beau is home and recovering nicely from his emergency surgery. Thor is sending him arfs of empathy.

Happy Thorsday, everyone!

you are raising scottish vikings over there! My kid is 11 and he just reached the 5 foot mark but just barely (but lets remember I am no giant although his mom is almost 6 foot)

Those are some handsome fellas in your house! Looking at those tall boys, I totally crack up when I think about you calling them the "little boys"! :-) Ryan and Cole are so similar in their reading habits. Although mine hasn't draped over a chair like that, he does most of his reading on his stomach on the living room floor. I'm forever asking, "Is that comfortable?" I usually get a grunting, "uh huh". Hope Mark enjoys 5th grade (that, along with 2nd, was our first class with Calvert!), and that Ryan likes 8th. Whew, those boys will be busy, busy this year! Good thing Thor is there to supervise breaks!

I can't believe how tall your boys are! I just love Thor and his first day of school picture.

At 6 foot already, I think Ryan will be challenging Jeff in height without even trying to. Mark is doing well with the height stuff too.

I think dear Thor is encouraging his current companions to do so, so well with growth. Hope Thor's regular companions do well with the new schooling year too.

They have a very wonderful and beautiful coach!!!!!!
