Thor and the Samoas

On Saturday, two of my daughters trekked to the supermarket to buy coconut and replicate Samoas, one of their favorite girl scout cookies.
So, you ask, what has this to do with Thor, since dogs can't have chocolate?

Look closer.

There he is, patiently waiting. As soon as Mom enters the kitchen, he knows he'd better leave. The kitchen banishment rule applies to all beings, biped and quadruped, who are not actively cooking, and it's the fault of the brunette in these photos.

Happy Thorsday!

I think Thor was there for quality control which is very important for Samoa making ;-)

How did the Samoas come out?

Btw...you have beautiful daughters!

Getting the girls involved is good planning!

Thor is waiting so patiently. Good rule, does it apply to husbands, too?

Good rule, but gee Thor is adorable and regal, all at the same time!

It would appear that Thor knows the rule and lays patiently doing his best quality control just out of dangers way. g

Mmm. Samoas are my favorite cookie - I they were tasty.

Tell Thor he can come to my house and hang out in the kitchen...I might even drop a bit of food here and there. ;-)

Aw, who can blame handsome Thor for wanting to be around those gorgeous girls?! He looks ever the gentleman with his legs crossed like that! How did the cookies turn out? My hubby loves those cookies. He would be trying to snatch them as soon as they were done. For a big guy, he's really fast on his feet. Recipe? :-)

hm - I thought all dogs were supposed to supervise all cooking - preferably laying on the feet of the cook... Bundy told me so....

And your daughters? OMG...They look just like their mama!

Will your girls let you share their recipe here on the blog?

I like your kitchen banishment rule. Sure wish I instituted that when the pups were young.

Glad to see another puppy gets to help in the kitchen too! Wilbur and Charlotte are always willing to help. Thor looks so handsome in the last pic too!!

Thor is such a gorgeous boy !

Skippy & Alex agree, it's Quality Control - yeah, that's it.

They keep an eye on things too, Alex has a bed just outside the kitchen door and Skip lies at the other end of the kitchen just by the kitchen sink. Mostly out of the way, so I don't chase them. My banishment training when they were young didn't really 'take' !
