Autumn Colors

The colors here haven't been as vivid as usual, probably because it's been a dry summer.  Still, the hydrangea in front of my house is in fine form, as is the little maple tree behind it.

And the remains of the street that once ran right through my living room also look really nice in the late afternoon sun.

And, because it's Thorsday, here's a picture of baby Maddie with her puppy, Penny.

Happy Thorsday, everyone!

Love autumn colours, ours also seem to be slower this year! Great last photo :-) Have a good weekend, Diane

Beautiful pics. You've got such a nice property. Our colours were lovely this year - seemed like more reds than usual. But, boy oh boy, a couple of windy days later they're disappearing fast !

We're in the western NC foothills during what should be peak leaf time but it's way short of normal and I believe dry is the reason here as well.

This small town Idaho girl misses large yards! I never ever get tired of seeing your beautiful yard photos... Maddie and Penny photos too! :)
