Book Sale Weekend!

The book sale was this weekend!  Jeffrey and his girlfriend had come up Friday night; she was very excited about going to buy books.

She's a sweet girl.  She was very happy when I told her I was paying for her books.

Shannon, her boyfriend and Natasha had also come up.  Shannon went to the book sale.  Boyfriend and Natasha did not.  They played in the yard.

Natasha was very upset when Shannon got into my car without me, and was hopping up and down in glee when we returned.  It was very funny.

These are the books I bought for Jeff, his girlfriend, Cass, Kellie, the relative in Denver, and even 5 for myself.  I'm sure that you all remember that I have "too many" books, so I'm not buying any more.  And by "any more", I'm sure I mean "many more."

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Oh, you've got a household full of enablers. You've trained them to satisfy your book-buying habit by proxy.

I am like you - I'll never stop buying books. It looks like you all got some good ones.

Oh dear, I seem to have lost your email. Thank you so much for the book. Nothing beats coming home to finding an unexpected book on your doorstep. Since I have a stack of five from the library, it will be a few weeks before I dive in to The Yellow Room. Very much looking forward to it.

I've unexpectedly gotten very attached to my ipad as a reader and my hard copy books are piling up. Not good - there is a pile that needs reading !

I'm so glad you had plenty of book lovers to share the event with. I'm looking forward to my first library book sale in a couple of weeks!

Oh I'm so jealous. I haven't been to a book sale since it moved to the other side of town.
