I'm Still Here!

This has been probably the most difficult 2 weeks of my life.  From a routine test on my dearly beloved to a triple bypass in 3 days.  8 days in the hospital, and I never left him alone to become fearful or depressed.  He is recovering well, although it will be a long haul.

I suppose that the best thing I can say is I lost 5 pounds during those 8 days.

Or maybe that I never knew this stuff comes in such a rainbow of flavors.

No, the best thing I can say is that a brilliant cardiac surgeon saved my dearly beloved from an almost guaranteed fatal heart attack in the next year.  My debt of gratitude to him is infinite.  I will be back some time soon.

Oh! I know what you are going through.... I had a triple 17 years ago. At the time it was YIKES and later the best thing ever. So glad he had it instead of a heart attack!! Life is good and thank God for akilled surgeons. It's a good time to be recovering... once the warm weather is in the wings he'll be ready to get walking outside.

This happened to my mom a little over a year ago. She is doing very well now, but I will say it took her a full year to really feel better. Hang in there and don't give up!

Hi Marjie,
I've been waiting for gmail to clear up my email issues but since it is now the weekend, I'm thinking they may not get it cleared any time soon.

Hope all is well with you. I will be in touch as soon as these email issues are cleared up:)
