Garden Tuesday: Purple Flowers

These are the first flowers which have bloomed in our yard since we lost Thor. I'm so glad I spotted them this morning!

Pretty! We haven't had any blooms in the yard - other than the butterfly bush - for ages. Dang deer...

I am not surprised that the garden has been in mourning as well. Diane

You know, I can still find the first star I saw the night Daisy died. Every year on the same day I look up and there it is - those purple flowers will make you smile for years to come.

The flowers are lovely. There is always something to remind us of a loved one and we treasure them when it happens. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (and Carol).

No expert on your east coast flowers, but are those Hostas? Or, what am I thinking, now they're Thor Flowers.

Such beautiful hostas, blooming in memory of Thor.

These blooms truely look lovely to me - my Folks have some but the flowers are always past their best or in between flowerings when I visit.

Sending care and huggles to you all,

Michelle and Zebby (he just happily purred his self to sleep)

In some parts of the world, purple represents mourning. In other parts royalty. In either case Marjie, your purple Hosta will always remind us of dear, sweet, lovable Thor...

Sure is nice to see a little color! Nearly everything here has gone brown or just gone!

Looks good to me! Should bring a little grin for sure!

I have lots of hosta's in my yard. And from now on, they are Thor's flowers.
