Early Thorsday

Last week, Jeff and Dan had a miserable cold, so we segregated them. Mark set up a really nice table for them in the kitchen, and was so proud of himself he took a picture of it.
I didn't escape their illness. So I don't feel like writing about food. How about a picture of Thor hiding under a kitchen chair during the power outage last week? Please, ignore the dust puppy under the pedestal of the table. I hadn't swept when the power went out, and didn't want to do so once we were sitting around the oil lamps.

Thor, you're just like Zeus... as much as you TRY, you're far too big to "hide" anywhere... =)

Aw, get better. Don't worry about us, I'm sure we can find something in the freezer to tide us over.

Coughs and sneezes spread diseases so they say...we have that same cold running loose in this house too. Love Thor's method of dealing with lights out! Don't you love the way those big guys think they can scrunch under the tiniest? Our Rotties would, as puppies, get under the kitchen chairs and then? still tried months and years later. It made for a rocky sit down if they tried when you were at the table. Oh. By the way. That dust thing? My house can beat your house for sure. Hope you're feeling better.

Feel better!

It must be a tight fit for Thor to squeeze under a chair.

Poor Thor. I think that was a very safe place to hang out during the power failure.

What's with the table? You mean the kids get to eat with the grownups normally? Ha! Lucky little tykes. Never happened when I was growing up. Kids and grownups only on holidays.

Why is it that the big guys love to get under tables?? My last saint loved to squeak under a long table with a low foot board... very hard to pull him out!

Hope everyone gets better soon.

Darling Thor - you keep those Dan and Jeff persons of yours trained up in case of another powercut,

Keep them eating in quaranteen so you have kitchen company when Momma aint so well, then they can do (coz we know they can) family catering of the really large family food style.

Dear Dan and Jeff, I know you will do food well, but to keep you up to scratch - Mickle will be checking!!

Sending love and care and big huggles to all, Michelle xxxxxxxx

You will never hear a word from anyone in Blogville about dust bunnies on the floor - or any where else. We all live in glass houses. So sorry so many of you have been ill. Hope you're getting better.
