Thor's 9th Birthday Celebration!

Thor had a very exciting ninth birthday! After a dinner of steak and angel hair, it was birthday hat and cake time!

Oh, give me that cake!

Wearing a hat while eating is very tricky.

But everyone made sure Thor got plenty of cake.
I'm pretty sure three small pieces are much more fun than one large one. Besides, then he can't wolf it all down in one bite.

Look! A present!

SWEET! A chicken flavored rawhide bone!

After chewing on the bone for a while, while romping with the boys, Thor suddenly remembered his new bone, raced over and grabbed it, deposited it with my dearly beloved, also known as The Great Red Protector, and went back to playing with his human brothers.

Happy Thorsday, everyone!

What a great party. Monty used to leave his toys with me so no one else would take them. I loved that he trusted me so much.

What a fabulous birthday. I love that he gave his bone to the Great Red Protector for safekeeping. He's a good boy that one.

but was he eating off your dishes? Surely not - I'm shocked!! They must be nice paper. g

Darling Thor, we're so pleased you had a super-happy 9th birthday. I expect the cake from your Mama was delicious, served on your own blue plate - 3 slices! And your dear Master there to protect your new toy - so happy that your family loves you so very much,

Love those photos. Gretchen does the same thing; I am the ball/bone/toy protector. Sissy of course, has no need for such...

oooh noo I missed Thor's birthday! I am a bad dog blogger, belated doggy hugs to Thor xxx My blog absence has however been because I am on 'dog watch' looking out for a suitable cat friendly pooch at the local rescues. Hoepfully we will have a new friend to tell you and Thor about soon!
