A Difference in Seasons

Remember this gate last autumn?

Well, we can't walk far enough to take a straight on picture of it today. It looks a little different.

Hard to believe that in 2 months these burning bushes will be breaking bud.

thanks for giving me a light at the end of the tunnel, friend. As I look out of the window watching snow, I was just wondering if it will ever stop!

We're having snow showers today. What fun. I'm ready for the flowers.

I love how clean, sparkly, and bright the snow makes everything look!

Omigosh...that gate is a beautiful sight, whatever the season!
You're a lucky woman... in more ways than one!

The in-laws aren't coming after all, so I have plans to make either your honey wheat or white rolls this weekend--whatever Ben wants.

My vote is wheat...

We have had three days of sunshine! Still cold, but we're seeing some of it melt! Could it be over? Nah!

I have been craving t-shirt weather and now we have snow again in Georgia. Soon it will be spring!!

The snow is beautiful...out in the yard. Not so pretty when it is in our way. We have plenty here in Iowa and hope for a slow melt with no flooding. Great soup weather.

Wow! That really shows it doesn't it?!

It does look lovely! I just can't believe how much snow you are getting.

What beautiful pictures...looking forward to seeing the spring one soon.

I almost made another loaf of bread today but I was out of yeast.

What a dramatic difference indeed! As much as I complain about winter, it is nice to get a fresh landscape to look at four times a year.

One glance at that gorgeous gate and I thought to myself, winter anticipation; spring pauses to enter:)

I'd be happy with just a bit of sunshine these days. They say it's coming...I just can't wait!!!

The burning bushes look beautiful even when covereed by snow. But by now I expect your are well and truely fed up with the wet cold stuff.

I like to think all animals, even the cookie-stealing bunny, are capable of change...

Lovely pictures! I can hardly wait to see 'spring'!

We noticed yesterday that our Forsythia bush has taken on a yellowish cast, so spring is on the way. Hang on, it's coming.
