Rainy Thorsday

This is Thor. Thor is playing with Darryl the Duck, but Thor is still sad. Why?

Rain. Thor keeps trying to take his boys outside to play, but it's been raining forever. Thor knows you think that's an exaggeration.

But in today's paper, farmers were stating that their plants are stunted, or not yet in the ground, because it's been too rainy, and nighttime temperatures have been too cold.

And the weatherdope on the TV the other night was saying we were "rainfall deficient" here! Mom bellowed, "You're an idiot!" at him. The farmers prove that Mom was right.

And Thor still wants to go outside, and romp, and picnic, and roll in the grass, if it ever stops raining.

Happy Thorsday, everyone!

Thor brought his rain here too!

Thor, Gretchen and Sissy feel your pain. Gretchen has learned to ASK for her rain slicker. Sissy only wishes she had a slicker, and tries to sneak off the front porch and potty under the eaves of the roof...

Oh poor Thor! I hope he gets to romp outside soon.

Poor Thor! I bet Darryl would enjoy the rain! In fact, Darryl's probably the only one who would enjoy it. Endless rain is the pits. Send the boys over here; they can play cards and Bananagram with my urchlings! You come along, too! I'll put the pot on for tea! :-)

We've had a lot of rain, too, but when it's not raining it's very hot. The dogs don't mind the rain too much, but this heat is rough on them and me.

Poor Thor! That boy needs to get out and romp, but the weather just isn't cooperating, is it?

As far as I'm concerned, every day should be Thorsday, and it should only rain at night with bright blue skies during the day.

I've decided to knit Thor a lobster - maybe that will make him happy again. Especially if it arrives with sunshine :) g

We're having the same rain problem but i dare not complain since we're coming out of a drought. Scout has all of the sudden started freaking out over the loud boomies. I guess we need to get her puppy Valiums.

I would love to be a weatherperson, you don't get fired for being wrong 50% of the time!

Poor Thor. Raining here too, but is expected as it is Winter.

Was in full sympathy for Thor over the boomies too. Zebbycat slinks along the floor and then clambers over my packed up sewing machine to hide in the back of the wardrobe. Sorry Thor - not enough room for you when fat Zeb is in there.

Tonight's tv news showed nasty storms in several parts of The States. I hope Thor and all his boys get to romp outside soon - for Thor AND Marjie's sakes,

Care and huggles to all from Michelle - Zebbycat soundly, silently(!) asleep

Poor Thor... at least we can still play the Picnic Game! There's just one itty bitty problem. The letter "C" is taken. I'm so sorry:( However, I, J, N, O, U, W, X, Y and Z ("E" was just taken 5 seconds ago) are still available. Anything in the pantry archive with those letters, I hope!

Poor Thor - I know how he feels. It poured relentlessly here yesterday, and I had a serious case of the mean reds.
