Thor's Easter

I had a lovely Easter, thank you. Instead of the traditional "follow the clues to the basket" hunt, Mom hid plastic eggs full of candy through the house. Jeff and Cass started out jogging in place to get me fired up for the hunt!

Jeff and I found lots of goodies!

There were even a few plastic eggs of pupcorn for little old me! Mom put them in the basket!

And yesterday, Mom was so distracted by tax day, and Dad yelling about the accountant wanting too much money, and something called "IRS" and "AMT" and many forms with numbers that it was a school holiday! My boys and I spent a lovely, sunny day frolicking in the yard! Little purple flowers that don't smell like food are blooming, and so are those dandy yellow forsythia!

Happy Thorsday, everyone!

Looks like big fun - for those not involved with the taxes. Sissy and Gretchen will be distressed to hear that your household had a holiday. At their house, there was just much rummaging in paper and some colorful language. Gretchen did hop up to try to help me with whatever was causing the stress, but Sissy just hung out in the other room...

Looks like you had a blast! Love Thor's basket!:) Don't you love how you can declare a no school day!:) We've been doing state testing...do this every three years to make sure he is at level or above where he should be...but oh how I hate the stress of timed testing!ug! Have a great week and Happy DOT!

As pack rats, we probably have Easter baskets still hidden somewhere in the house!

I wish Thor could have come joined our Easter hunt. There were lots of treats and he could have reached the high places without stretching.

Oh sweet Thor - I am glad you were included in the Easter festivities. Having a "tax day" off of school is fun too.

Looks like Thor had a wonderful Easter and I hope his humans did too. I think Tax Day should be a work holiday too!

Sorry to hear Tax day was such a downer for the adults - but the kids all had fun. Easter sounds wonderful and I love how all your 2-legged kids include Thor in everything they do. :) Sweet. g

Tax day, bleah! Thor looks like he had a great time!

And I had to put the calories! People wanted them and then when I put them on there, they didn't want them. I can't win!

Happy Easter Thor! It looks like you had a great day. Your boys take such good care of you. You are a lucky little pooch.

Great posts and thanks for the kind words on my blog! Just struck me as one of those sub-par meals that I'm sure we all turn out once in awhile. But I made up for it last night with the pasta!

I do all the cooking in the house, and always have. I think my wife's cooked 4-5 meals over the 19 years we've been together.

Good stuff, keep it up!

Larry.

One more comment ... definitely work on your book idea that you mentioned. This is exactly the kind of approach we were taught in Kathleen Flinn's writing class in Seattle. It's got to be a unique "hook," and it sounds like you've found one! You should publish or send an email link!
