Snow for Christmas

It was not snowing at 8AM today. It started around 9.

This is what I see looking in 2 directions off my back porch:
I guess Paula sent her snow to me. We're scheduled for more on Sunday and Wednesday.

Thor and the little boys are outside playing with the boys next door, so at least Thor's not being terrorized by the pounding in my kitchen. Happy snow day!

Your yard looks so pretty! I love freshly fallen snow. Is that courtyard area where you guys made smores this summer? Not exactly smore weather today! One of the things I like about snow days here is that it's so quiet outside ... no traffic noise. In about an hour, I'll hear lots of squeals from kids playing in the white stuff. It's snowing here as I type this ... yikes, I'm LOW on milk. I need your vehicle!

It's snowing here in Portland, as I type this. It make Christmas more magical to me. Stay warm.

Oh Gosh! I miss snow so bad. It is hard to read all these blogs with beautiful snowy white Christmassy yards. Your photos have created an incredible sense of longing in me today... Sigh!

Our snow is supposed to start tonight and accumulate to about 8 inches or so by Sunday. We had snow this past week as well, so I don't think there's any fear of a green Christmas - Enjoy !

Thanks for the comment on my blog -- I popped in to say hello and promptly fell in love with Thor. Oh my goodness what a great looking dog. Would love to get him together with my smaller-than-average pug. That would make for a lot of laughs! I will definitely be back -- life at your house looks pretty interesting....

Thor looks pleased to be surveying his kingdom! I hope he and the "little" boys had a blast playing outside!

Wow, that's a lot of snow! Looks fun right? A nice warm dinner will cure all.

I'd like some of that snow in my garden! Rain is all we have these days!
